Hi! My name is Dave, and I draw and make stories... I have been a fan of 80's cartoons and horror comics for a long time but just since 2019 have I started using these inspirations to influence my art.

My style is most directly influenced by Jack Davis, Wally Wood and David Hartman. The Line work by these gentlemen is amazing and a true inspiration on my work!
 
  I have been freelance Illustrating and Animating on/off since 2021.

An art showing out of my house featuring live demonstrations, paintings and prints for sale. Approximately 15 paintings on various materials of various subject matters; skulls, classic tattoo imagery, pumpkins, etc.
 
In 2018 I began teaching myself to animate. Worked with Tony Teach on some lessons and the rest was self-taught with videos and internet resources.

A 15-piece art show featuring the classics reimagined as cartoon characters as well as other cartoon/comic book inspired paintings and tattoo imagery.
 
Chronic Cats – Hiram, OH | 2019 – 2020
An amazing grass-roots cartoon with a 2 person crew. The entire cringe-worthy production was co-created, written, animated and drawn by myself and Ashley Huffman.

Animated short for Koper Heavy Industries, Speculative Animated series where the main character gets prompts from an online audience [Instagram or tik-tok was the original plan] for things that happen in the show.

Monstroween – Instagram |  2022 & 2023-
One drawing every day of October based on prompts provided by Dave Hartman. I love this challenge and has really helped me improve my drawing immensely.
